JK Rowling revealed Nagini is a Maledictus - a human woman inflicted with a blood curse who can transform into an animal, but will eventually lose the ability to return to their human form. Kim, who kept hush about her part in the upcoming fantasy film out November 16, told Entertainment Weekly she's excited for viewers to see a more vulnerable side to Nagini that deviates from the character's villainous role "as a Horcrux" in previous Potter movies.
