Pete Davidson Made Last Minute Call to Mention Ariana Grande on 'SNL'

But Grande put to rest that she has any animosity towards Davidson in a new song called "Thank You, Next".

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I'm sorry u got the worst line it was meant v lovingly."

Ariana had previously revealed that Ricky, along with Sean and Pete, had been sent the song to listen to before it was released.

The midtempo song "Thank U, Next" references past splits and expresses gratitude for what she has learned from the relationships.

Ariana added, "I've got a lot of work to do but it's a start to even be aware that it's possible".

"One taught me love / One taught me patience / And one taught me pain / Now I'm so awesome / Say I've loved and I've lost / But that's not what I see / So look what I got / Look what you taught me/ And for that I say / Thank u, next / Thank u, next / Thank u, next / I'm so f**king grateful for my ex".

Just before the release of "thank u, next", Ariana took to Twitter to explain what the song was about and by the sounds of things, all this shade and negativity is done. In the track, she addresses her break up with Pete and thanks him for everything he taught her. "To hear that being said by her is so attractive". When she said, 'I met someone else / And her name is Ari, ' I wept.

Touching: Ariana pays tribute to her ex Mac Miller, describing him as an angel in the song. The rest of the lyrics praise the singer for all that she's been through ― in love and life ― over the past few years. The singer of 25 years has also stopped the operation of his last album, Sweetener and has just unveiled a brand new song.
