Google Pixel 3 lite photographed next to original Pixel, several iPhones

A new batch of information about the rumored Google Pixel 3 Lite has surfaced out on the internet. After a very off and illogical teaser that many interpreted as Google hinting at the possible existence of a Pixel 3 Ultra, it quickly became clear that this elusive devices was as real as Half-Life 3 ever was. And like the regular Pixel 3, this version has also managed to end up on an unboxing video from Russian Federation.

We still don't know when Google plans to actually announce this device, but at the rate these leaks go, we should be able to figure it out pretty soon. The Pixel 3 Lite hoover differentiates from the Pixel 3 XL in the size department, the latter being the only one of the two to feature a notch on top of the screen. But it certainly looks like the company has another variant on the way. This time around we get to see it compared to not only the Pixel 3 XL, but also Apple's iPhone XS and iPhone XR.

The phone, codenamed Sargo, is a toned down Pixel 3 that uses plastic rather than glass. According to the new details, the Pixel 3 Lite is expected to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 SoC along with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.

There's no word on when this mid-range Pixel will be released, but there's only a month left in 2018, so we are probably looking at a launch early next year (CES, maybe?).
