Germany does not explicitly exclude Huawei from 5G network

For example, since Huawei's equipment is not used in the USA networks, is the United States having the most secure network? In it, Ryan Ding, president of Huawei's carrier business group said the process of adapting its software and engineering processes to meet the UK's requirements was "like replacing components on a high-speed train in motion".

Poland will also nearly certainly exclude Huawei from its efforts to build 5G infrastructure, according to new reports. He emphasized that "we are always willing to accept the supervision and suggestions of all European governments, customers, and partners".

Concerns about foreign firms helping USA adversaries infiltrate sensitive computer systems, whether wittingly or unwittingly, have gained prominence in recent years.

Australian Intelligence also claimed that "Chinese espionage services used telecommunications giant Huawei's staff to get access codes to infiltrate a foreign network" within the past two years.

Western security concerns surrounding Huawei, and fellow Chinese telecoms equipment firm ZTE Corp (0763.HK) (000063.SZ), centre around China's National Intelligence Law.

BERLIN-Germany's federal cybersecurity agency is investigating whether China's Huawei Technologies could be a security threat after warnings from other countries, the Funke group of newspapers reported on February 8, citing Economy Minister Peter Altmaier.

In a letter to MPs yesterday the company pledged to spend £1.5billion to address security concerns but said it could take three to five years to bring "tangible results".

It will take three-to-five years for Huawei to address the concerns raised by the United Kingdom government over the security of its equipment and its potential to be used for espionage by the Chinese government, the telecommunications giant explained in an open letter to MPs.

The US is concerned that if its allies continue to use Huawei kit, then America's security will be threatened. Japan, Italy, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, those are just some of the countries that are considering the ban on Huawei.

USA charges of stealing technology and violating sanctions on Iran have since been issued against the company, sparking new tensions in relations between the United States and China. This has raised fears that Chinese-made equipment could present a security risk particularly if used in the construction of new 5G networks.
