Solo and Duo modes might be coming to Apex Legends

Fortnite reached the milestone faster than other mobile titles in the same category, with Clash Royale and Honor of Kings hitting the same target in 389 and 405 days, respectively.

The free-to-play game had reached one million concurrent players, and 10 million players over its initial 72 hours after launch last week.

"The game came out on the day of the Super Bowl and EA instead relied on Twitch and YouTube to make it the biggest launch ever for a battle royale game", says Daniel Ahmad, an analyst at Niko Partners, who says EA's move was unusual.

While Apex Legends has just had a high-profile release, another one is just around the corner. But more choice is usually a good thing, especially when Apex Legends is a tad bare at the moment.
