Google Pixel 4 XL doesn't have a notch, isn't bezel-less either

The Pixel 4 XL will also have a 6.25-inch display, within which Google will include a fingerprint scanner. Because it's anticipated to be sold by most major carriers, that is the year Google must make the Pixel a genuine mass-market contender.

If these numbers are correct, the Google Pixel 4 XL will have a larger footprint, despite boasting a smaller display than the Galaxy S10 Plus. There's a thick bezel on top of the smartphone a slimmer bezel at the chin.

A fresh set of Pixel 4 XL renders have hit the web, and if they are to be believed, Google will in fact ditch the display notch in favor of a traditional bezel this time around. But the biggest Pixel 4 XL design surprise is on the front, and to put it simply, it is not a good one.

As per the new renders, the design of the Pixel 4 XL is identical to the Pixel 4 renders but these renders give a clear picture of the front panel of the device. Being based on CAD schematics, there's some pretty precise measurements for the phone itself, and the size given here is 160.4 x 75.2 x 8.2mm, but there's a bit of a camera bump for the rear module which takes that thickness to 9.3mm.

The chassis is made up of aluminum with glass covering the rear side. The Pixel 4 XL has triple cameras on the rear side with dual LED flashlight. Alternatively, the hollow area could also be used for another feature like a "Face ID-type module". Unlike what previous reports said, however, this new render shows the lack of the 3.5mm headphone jack. Being the premium flagship it will be running on the Qualcomm's latest best Snapdragon 855 SoC straight out of the box. Let's hope 6GB of RAM. The Pixel 4 XL is expected to make an appearance later this year and with only a few months left before the unviel, the renders express quite a lot. The upcoming Pixel phones will be running on the Android Q. In terms of color options, the Pixel 4 XL is expected to be available in a new "Mint Green" color. Stay tuned because I'm sure we'll have more to share soon.
